ABOUT THE PROJECT
The City of Frankfort has partnered with American Structurepoint to prepare a new Comprehensive Plan. This community-driven planning process will establish a vision for the future and provide recommendations that guide growth, development, infrastructure improvements, housing initiatives, economic development, and quality-of-life investments.
The Comprehensive Plan will meet Indiana planning requirements and OCRA planning grant requirements while creating a roadmap that reflects the values and aspirations of the Frankfort community.
Frankfort’s Vision & Strategy Development
Using the information gathered during the first phase, the project team and community will establish a shared vision for Frankfort's future. Goals, objectives, and strategies will be developed to address topics such as land use, housing, transportation, economic development, infrastructure, parks and recreation, community facilities, and quality of life.

INFORMATION GATHERING
This phase focuses on understanding Frankfort today. The project team will review existing conditions, demographic and economic trends, land use patterns, housing conditions, infrastructure systems, community facilities, and public input. Community engagement activities and stakeholder discussions will help identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities.

Implementation & Action Planning
The final phase will focus on creating an actionable plan that identifies priorities, implementation tools, responsible parties, and potential funding sources. The result will be a practical guide that helps community leaders make informed decisions and advance the community's vision over time.
THE PROJECT TEAM
The City of Frankfort has partnered with American Structurepoint to develop the Comprehensive Plan. American Structurepoint is a multidisciplinary planning, engineering, architecture, and design firm that has assisted communities throughout Indiana with comprehensive planning and community development initiatives.
